I’m a professional dilettante: a textile fanatic, painter of galaxies, editor extraordinaire, amateur photographer, and all around maker of Things, fervently wishing for more hands.
I can usually be found in New England, but I am also all over the internet! I’m the Editor- in- Chief over at Knit Edge magazine, I teach at Craftsy, I’ve written for xoJane, BlogHer, New Mobility, as well as others, and I’ve been interviewed about disability too many times to count.
We are constantly working on simplifying our lives: paring down to the essentials, the things we truly love, and then taking the time to luxuriate in them together. It isn’t always easy; I struggle with it sometimes, and I write about it here. I hope to open a dialogue about keeping our lives simple and gentle; I hope to help others to do the same.
