Very good things this week:
Finishing my Permafrost Hat.
Almost finishing my supersecret gift knitting.
Emma, who had surgery last week, being… well, the same old Emma, and for forgiving me for taking her to the vet's office not once, not twice, but three awful times this year. Poor baby.
Showing the Easton studio all our lovely samples from Sweet Libertine, then coming home to my own set of stash enhancements, too.
Speaking of things that came in the mail, I bought a stand for my iPod to play my yoga videos in the morning. I am excited.
And my skein of Wollmeise- that came, too. It was a nice mail day.
Not that stuff can make a day, but I do so love mail. Getting something in the mail feels a little like a birthday. Speaking of which, I got my very first grown- up pen pal this week, too! I need to write back this week, before I forget. I've even written it into my weekly To Do list, because it's very exciting.
Oh, oh- and I finally finished all of my Spring colorways for 2010 and I love them so much. There's one completely unexpected color in there that I wasn't even trying to make and it's perfect. Sorry- no pictures of that, though. That's top secret until mid- March.
I'm breaking in my new super- mixer tonight making angelfood cake. Nom.
The final entry on today's List Of Very Good Things is this picture of Emma, peeking out at me from behind my laptop, where I was attempting to edit photos and she was attempting to hide from the dog. I love her so, even if she is turning me into the craziest of crazy cat ladies.
