I drove out to Gryphon's this afternoon to help with the shop update- a task made a little extra- stressful as we're trying out the new website on this update.
Salome wanted to help, which I appreciated. We can use all the hands… or whathaveyou… we can get.
Lots of yarns to photograph, a new camera to buy (for the business, so completely guilt free!!), cookies to eat. The new Sappho II goes up on the site tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to hearing what folks think of it. I liked it so much I held back a skein for myself for sample knitting.
An exhausting day, but worth it. Even Salome was tuckered out afterward.
In other news, I snagged the very last spot in a spinning workshop with Jacey Boggs this weekend at Spinster Yarns and Fibers, and I could not be more excited. I've been focusing a lot more on my spinning over the last few weeks- I'm about to embark on a 20 Yarns in 30 Days challenge, but that's a different post- and I'm so thrilled to have a chance to learn from Jacey, who is not only charming and funny but an amazing technician. Hopefully I'll have pictures and info from the weekend to share!
