Aaaah! The count is almost in the 40s, and I couldn’t be happier. I am so homesick. Billy and I talk about trying to make the best of the time we have left- literally, enjoying the time, taking advantage of the good things here instead of just ticking off days. He’s right- I’m adding that to my list.

It’s spring, suddenly, warm and bright and clear, just gorgeous. Crisp mornings and downright chilly at night. I step out of my hut each morning and feel happy and hopeful and awake. It’s spring, and I’m nearly home.
