in which I am travelling

Munich, exhausted and excited, waiting to fly into Chicago. I'm taking the long route home in order to fly into BWI, which is so much closer to our house; 21 hours of travel, all put together. Sweet holy hell. Doha to Munich to Chicago to Baltimore (to Hanover to Thai food to Baltimore again to my much- missed soaking tub to bed, I think).

I've taken pictures, but my USB cord is in my checked luggage so they'll have to wait. I've also written entries in Doha, but not posted them; maybe they'll come later. Long story short: As Saliyah is still a meatmarket, but I had a Guinness and a curry and that made me feel more tender towards the place overall. Also, at night it feels just a little like Texas- San Antonio, specifically- and that had a weird affection- building effect on me, as well. Who knows what the hell that's all about.
