in which I am proud of a girl

Chion Wolf’s coverage of the Connecticut State Supreme Court’s decision to support gay marriage is absolutely gorgeous. I’m particularly fond of this reaction shot, as well as this one, but the entire set is worth viewing; she’s a fantastic photojournalist. (Also, she’s ridiculously cute in this shot. Also here.)

It’s been a long, long time since the news made me cry in a good way. How sweet that someone I love is reporting it.

Well done, Connecticut. Maybe it’s not just about the sandwiches and the leaves.

🙂 Thanks so much for the shout-out, lady!!! I’m so warmed by how well-received the photos have been. It means so much to have been involved and this close, and in this way, to provide the evidence of the event.
It’ll be autumn-weather by the time you get here, i promise. i’ve made a few phone calls, you’re all set.
