Oh, I know, right? That last one was a shocker. How long has it been? Behold, my finished Koolhaas.
No, I’m not putting it on my head, because it’s a gift.
Pattern: Koolhaas, by Jared Flood of Brooklyn Tweed fame
Yarn: 1 skein of Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend, 30% silk 70% merino wool, colorway Pewter
Notes: This took me for-ev-er. I just couldn’t get it right, and I screwed up the crown thinking k2tbl means k2togtbl. That’s what I get for making assumptions (and not reading my Ravelry comments). I knit an extra repeat before getting into the crown to make up for knitting an aran- weight project in a dk- weight yarn. (It do seems more worsted to me, but better safe.) Fits a woman’s head perfectly. Love love love the hat, though- very stretchy, and honestly if I had gotten it right the first time it would be a dead fast knit. Raveled.
Ha! I feel totally accomplished for the night.
