in which I am cleaning

Tonight was simple and lovely: a good dinner (turkey! real turkey!), long evening constitutional with Jason, cider, housekeeping. Someone left a stack of drawers outside and after they’d been there a bit, I took them in. Now I’m cleaning/ organizing- perfect for this time of year, and feels exactly right. Did I mention I like to tidy? Sam will be shocked, I’m sure, but I do. A lot. Maybe that’s another of those changes I’ve been talking about; at least I can be relatively certain he’ll be thrilled by that one. I really, really like everything being just so.

Checking my email as I waited for the drawers to dry off, I found an email from Etsy (a website where people sell handmade goodness) that included these amazingly wonderful super- creepy hand soaps from foliage. **Love.** I know I’ve been trying to cut back, but I bought these immediately and had them shipped to the house.

They’re cast from doll hands: absolutely terrifying.

I mean, c’mon- it that isn’t Fall Festive at it’s very best, I don’t know what is.

Hmm, creepy at first but somehow they grow on you quickly. I think they’re kinda cute-lol.

Those soaps are amazing, I want them too. Wonder how they’ll look after they’ve gone all mushy…scary looking I imagine!
