in which there is a door, literally

Okay, it’s a terrible picture, taken off of Sam’s cell phone, but look at my new door!

oh em gee, red door!

While I’m gone, Sam is working on the house. One of the things we needed to do was replace the front door with something stronger, more weatherproof, and (we hoped) attractive than what the house came with. One of the things I secretly wanted was a red door; I don’t know what that’s about, but I’ve always wanted one. I am so thrilled.

That’s not weird at all. I’ve always wanted a yellow house with a purple door. I saw one on a visit to Boston’s suburbs once, and I fell in love.
Unfortunately now we live in a subdivision with HOA rules, and nobody wants to allow a purple door. My next house though…
    Take care!

i’ve shared your love of a red door.
i’ve never actually had one, but always wanted one.
along with a balcony and a wrap-around porch.
at this point, i’d simply settle for an upstairs.
