in which knitting can eat babies (or: yarn really does make every day a little better)

Maya hug, originally uploaded by sarahnak.

The expression on the baby's face in this image is perfect: abject terror. This is the face of oh- my- g*d- I'll- never- get- over- the- bed- trying- to -eat me. I'm sorry, I know it's not nice to make fun of someone's design and all, but this is straight out of my childhood nightmares of the Boogeyman reaching up through my bed to get me.

The horror.

(The pattern is here– just in case you want to be sued for psychiatric care in 18 years or so. Honestly, it's a cute idea, but…)

i’d totally sport something like that. and walk around with a look of “i’m cooler than you because i have four arms.”
or, maybe it would be.. “i’m warmer than you..?”
does that make me a loser?
i’m going with a big yes.
