All right- this isn’t quite the last Great Yarn Giveaway Post, but it’s close; I’ll be posting a few of these over the next day or so, trying to last out the last of the Giveaway stuff.
First- I’m so sorry, but I’m going to need to limit this to US residents only. APO and FPO are all right, but I just don’t have time to get to the post office to ship anything overseas right now- all of these will be sent Priority Mail within the US, to use up the last of my postage/ supplies before I leave (and the gov’t ups the prices).
I have some yarn to give away, all- commercial yarn.
First up are three full skeins of Lamb’s Pride Bulky, one in cream and two in black.
Next are six skeins of Knitpicks Merino Style in Cinnamon:
Then I have a collection of Colinette scraps, from an afghan I made. Some of the mohair yarns are nearly full balls.
The one on the bottom towards the right- I think that’s a full skein, or nearly so. The one on the lower left- the one that looks brown?- that’s not really brown at all. It’s a darker, warmer pink with gray overtones, also nearly a full skein.
And then there’s the sock knitter’s collection!
For a full explanation of what’s what, please check out the image on my Flickr website. If you hover over the image you’ll see descriptions of each yarn.
Also, 2 skeins of fingering weight Karakul singles.
There are also some DK weight cashmere/ silk yarns I ‘ve dyed. 55% silk, 45% cashmere,
200yds/2oz a skein.
There is the turquoise and black, surplus from something I dyed for myself.
There are the light, tealy blues and the spring green, part of a series of Easter-y skeins I made for a friend- these are kettle- dyed, not handpainted.
And there are these skeins, in indigo and purples- part of the same project.
(No, I don’t know what she wanted these colors for yet, although I’m dying to know.)
So how’s this going to work?
Ok. I want to test out my new email address. If you’re interested in something you see above, cool! I’ll send it to you for free. Just email me with your name, which yarn set you’re interested in (they all come as a package deal- you get one photo’s worth of yarn!), and your mailing address. If you have a blog or Ravelry account, I’d love it if you included that, too! First person to claim a set of yarns gets it! Only one set each, please.
Cut off to email me for this is 1200 Eastern time, 3 April 2008. Good luck! The final fiber giveaway will be posted tomorrow afternoon. And you know, comments would be pretty awesome, too.
