Great Yarn Giveaway, again!

(First, an admin note: Please, please, please come back to the website to check and see if you’ve won! I have very little time left in country, and I need to get these things shipped out as soon as possible- before I leave. Once I leave, I’ll be gone for a year and I’ll have no way to send this out to you. As soon as you see you’ve won, please email me your address! And if you don’t hear back from me within a day, please- send it again! I’d hate to have someone win and not get their prize because I left the country before I had their address.)

My bosses tell me, Any day now, they say. Any day now, you’re going. Get packed. Be ready. I hope that’s true; I’m bad at waiting. In the meantime, I have yarn to unload! I’m going to try and keep this going up until right before I leave.

Up for grabs today: Socks That Rock, Mediumweight, in the colorway Undertoe. Ravelry link here, website link here. Lovely springy yarn, one skein (which should make one pair of socks!).

Str

Want some? Drop me a comment below- Random number generator all the way on this one, because I am/ appear to be so short on time, although I’d love to know what you’d want to make out of this!  VERY short deadline on this one: Deadline is 1500/ 3 pm eastern time, 11 March 2008. Good luck!

Beautiful yarn! I would make a pair of Central Air socks (hey that rhymes!)

I would love to add this to my meager stash! I have been dying to try STR, and I would, of course, make a pair of socks out of them!

Oooh, very pretty! And I think the Batman comment was the best, too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Your ink looks great, BTW.
I too have been eager to try the STR and am thinking that socks for myself would be the way to go. Not sure what I’ll make, but I have a pattern from Wendy Knits that I’m dying to try out, so if I can get gauge with it I’d go for that. I think it’s called Healthy Spine Socks.
I think if I won the yarn, it would be a sign to try the pattern out (even though I have to admit I’m intimidated), don’t you?

Really pretty stuff. That handspun you just gave away made me drool though, not going to lie. Especially in the pictures in the post saying who won.
I’ve got a couple of sock patterns queued up on Ravelry. That color isn’t really saying lace or texture to me… so maybe just a basic sock with a pretty picot cuff.

Oohhh…STR..I’ve never tried it, but I do have a list of sock patterns to knit. Perhaps Pomatomus (did I spell that correctly??).

Wow, gorgeous yarn. I can’t believe you’re giving it away.
Love the tattoo by the way. I got one when I was 18 and it hurt so much and it’s little, compared to yours. I would have probably left after the first letter ๐Ÿ˜‰
