Today can go straight to hell.

However, custard-kisses‘ image of a cupcake with pig sprinkles totally improved the evening. (Yeah, I googled “pig sprinkles”. So what if I can’t bake?)

I wonder if there are pig sprinkles in Maryland, or if that’s some New Zealand- only bit of awesome.

14 days until I go home, 12 until I’m on a plane out of Afghanistan for midtour, but who’s counting?

    i finally have something to stick in the mail to you. look at me go. i’ve sucked at this for sooo long and i’ve felt awful about it everyday. but, you know how life goes.
    i’ll plan on sending it once your return from your break. that way, you’ll have something awesome to look forward to. sorta. =)

    The bakery I used to work at in Washington DC had pig sprinkles. i never did find out where they got them.
